Dr. Chan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from  Boston College in 1994.   She did cancer research for few years at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women Hospital in Massachusetts before obtaining her Master of Science degree in Nutrition at Columbia University  in New York  in 2018.  She attended St. George’s University , School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, graduating with her Doctor of Medicine in 2002. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY in 2005 and continued on as Chief Resident for an additional year.  She joined Valley Oak Pediatric Associates in September 2006. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Bui-Thompson, DO

Dr. Bui-Thompson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1993. She attended the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science in Des Moines, Iowa graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 1997. She completed her pediatric residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan in 2001 and was Chief Resident from 2001-2002. She practiced pediatrics in Modesto and Stockton prior to joining Valley Oak Pediatric Associates in 2012. She is Board Certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics. She is fluent in Vietnamese.

Dr. Bauman received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from California State University in Fresno in 1995. He attended the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Medicine in 1999. He completed his pediatric residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 2002 and began practicing with Valley Oak Pediatric Associates the same year. Dr. Bauman was born and raised in Modesto, California. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Pham graduated from University of California, at San Diego with a Bachelor Science degree in 1995. He later attended Ohio State College of Medicine of Columbus Ohio where he obtained his Medical Degree in 2000. He completed his internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Oklahoma. He is Board Certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics. He joined Valley Oak Pediatric Associates in September 2006. He is fluent in Vietnamese.
